Tango AdHoc

Tango AdHoc is based in Ipswich, Suffolk.

See below for the type of activities we organise in and around the Ipswich area.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

We are excited to have found a very special location for our next milonga.

St. Stephen's Church, St. Stephen's Lane, Ipswich IP1 1DP

This is one of three live music venues run by 'Brighten The Corners'. A non-profit organisation empowering young people and adults to thrive through music, event production, media, and arts.

'The Church' is a recently renovated Grade 2 Listed medieval church now operating as a live music and arts venue with a full professional sound system, cafe & bar.

Cheap, multi-storey, award winning, safe car parking is just feet away.

We are also planning one of our popular Cram sessions on Saturday 28th March on our favourite theme  -  Milonga.

See the side bar for more details.

TANGO AdHoc organises informal, social dances (milongas).
In addition to our milongas we arrange ad hoc(!) events including workshops, classes & other tango related events.
We offer a bespoke learning experience on a 1 to 1 and small group (2-3 couples) basis for those who prefer an immersive, individualised, accelerated approach to learning Argentine Tango.
Our approach to dancing, learning & teaching Argentine Tango is that;

"....steps are not enough".

We feel that effectively interpreting the music is the key to enjoying this fabulous dance. You have to;

"....feel the music".

TANGO AdHoc is non-profit making.
Any surplus over our basic costs is donated to our chosen charity.
